UCSF needed to create a unified web presence for two hospitals that had merged—UCSF Benioff and Oakland Children’s. I audited both websites and planned this large content migration.

Each hospital had different ways of naming and grouping their specialty clinics. I created a unified taxonomy that streamlined and standardized content across the site.

I developed a matrix of all model features to create a systematic approach to content in the app. Designers used it as a foundation for a card-based design and developers used it to develop back-end logic.

The Adobe team needed a CMS so they could moderate submissions as well as create a pool of eligible photos for the judges to select winners.
It needed to be simple and spare since it was being built quickly. I designed the work flows, navigation and UI for the editing screens.
